Its a nifty little tool with only one downside: no locking mechanism. Some people may find this to be a positive or a negative but at times without the ability to lock the tools down it can become more a hassle than it should be.
I still recommend buying this multi-tool as it's still a great buy!

What timing to get an email to review this, maybe time to play the lottery. I recently got my bike back from the shop where it was undergoing some work on the suspension and went out for my first trail ride yesterday and needed this tool. It was shifting kind of weird and jumping sprockets now and then and as I was climbing a hill the chain popped. I would have been on a few mile bike hike if I hadn't had it, and the chain tool worked perfectly after I figured out how to use it. I can't compare it to other tools as I'm a bike n00b but I'm in construction and work with good quality tools all the time, this seems like a well built tool and it performed well. I looked at some forums and Crank Brothers seemed to be the most widely used, particularly the m15, I'm not weight conscious so I figured more tools are better if you're broken down. Overall it was a good purchase for me.

Obviously, this tool works well for biking. But it also has everything you need for quick fixes around the house, I keep it in my kitchen junk drawer when I'm not riding for quick fixes.

I have actually used this one time in the first few days after I received it. It is a very sturdy tool, but hard to turn it in tight places sometimes. When I used it to remove and replace some nuts on the seat stem to add a bike pump, the areas were a little tight, and it would keep hitting the chain and sprockets, and turning the unit is a little on the bulky side. I could have used a regular allen wrench (which I did get one after a while) to start, but I wanted to try the tool first. I also used it on the seat post to remove my seat, which worked well too. For most applications, it is a great tool, and certainly the thing to have in an emergency. has a nice case too and easily fits into my seat bag.

The carrying case lid isn't attached to the case part, so I'm afraid it might go missing someday. I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it. Definitely all the tools that you will ever need are there, however, it didn't come with any instructions or paper that gives you a clue about which tool is used for what (maybe that's my own problem lol). Also the tools don't lock in place, so it can be difficult to use if something is really stuck.
